A Twisted Tale is a book series by Liz Braswell that I am currently obsessed with. She takes classic Disney stories and puts a twist on them, hence the series name, the create a unique story. In the case of As Old as Time, the enchantress who cursed the beast turns out to be Belle's mother! What I love about these books is that they don't shy away from dark themes and gritty story lines. These books don't always have the perfect happy ending the movies get, but the journey is even more rewarding.

I highly recommend to any Disney-lover and bookworm alike!
